Lamond Murray (6’7″) also competed in the NBA Summer League for the Denver Nuggets.
The Santa Barbara Breakers owner and head coach, Curt Pickering, is excited about the success the former Breakers players are achieving: “The results of these outstanding players moving on from the Santa Barbara Breakers to NBA rosters validates our mission and that is to help promote our players to the next level. With that in mind, we are confident that additional outstanding players that are on the NBA bubble will see the Breakers as a viable opportunity and seek a roster position in the 2008 season.”
The 2008 IBL season will begin in March 2008. For more information regarding the Santa Barbara Breakers visit www.santabarbarabasketball.com. For more information about the International Basketball League visit www.iblhoopsonline.com.
